Maralin Falik has nearly forty years experience in election administration, helping manage and conduct over eight thousand five hundred elections. Most of her professional career (1981-1999) was spent at Honest Ballot Association, a not-for-profit organization founded by Theodore Roosevelt, where she was Executive Director. Her extensive experience in providing complete election management solutions to key private sector clients, including labor unions, associations and cooperatives/condominiums has been an invaluable resource to GES. Her perfect record reflects the quality of her work when defending election challenges before the Department of Labor and courts. Ms. Falik has also testified as an "election expert" to the courts and various oversight groups.
John S. Matthews serves as the Chairman of Global Arena Holding Inc, since 2011 and as Chairman of Global Election Services since 2015, where he directed the investment into the proprietary election registration and tabulation software developed by GES and the investment into election software utilizing the Blockchain. Mr. Matthews has been involved in United States Politics since the 1980's, having worked on and for numerous Statewide, Congressional and Presidential elections. Mr. Matthews worked on Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan's campaign for the US Senate in 1988, where concurrently, Mr. Matthews served as Senator Moynihan's Director of the Senator's New York office acting as the Senator's senior Ombudsman, and responsible for all constituent services and legislative initiatives. Mr. Matthews worked in the Securities business in the United States and was an officer of numerous Registered Broker Dealers from 1995 - 2014.
Kathryn Weisbeck joined GES in 2015 upon formation of the company. Ms. Weisbeck works in many faucets of the company including; ballot and envelope design and coordinating with printer/mail houses; employee training and management; helpline supervision; working with clients on member lists, eligibility and election processes; registration and supervision of in-person elections and ballot tabulation and auditing. Ms. Weisbeck manages and trains GES staff and temps and works closely with our IT personnel and vendors on the development and management of GES' proprietary registration and scanning/tabulation software systems. Ms. Weisbeck earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA.
James P. Daprile earned his BS in Accounting from St. John's University while working in financial services. His career included roles as CFO, along with legal and product controllerships, with diverse corporate structures varying from small US based broker-dealers to global investment banks. During his time in the financial services community, James both led and supported the implementation of various information systems which included trading, settlement, management reporting and general ledger systems. He also participated in the development of inter databases from which financial reporting was derived to support locality specific requirements within a global investment bank.
James also has experience as a securities regulator with FINRA. His role included the review of data submitted by member firms along with externally gathered data to ensure compliance with FINRA and SEC rules and regulations.
